Position Description:
Put your years of experience into a future of excellence at CGI Federal! CGI is seeking a Sr. Functional Analyst to support the DHS in Springfield, VA. Position requires US Citizenship and must be eligible to obtain DHS clearance.
Position
Summary:
Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifies resources required for each task.
Performs functional analysis to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
Possesses expert knowledge and experience in the requirements and integration.
Works with engineers on systems integration.
Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff
Leads and or directs requirements definition, market research, proof of concept, business impact analysis, migration planning, and deployment efforts associated with special projects as they arise.
Researches and analyzes requirements, standards, tools, applications, and technology to support delivery of architecture, engineering, and IT services
Defines and implements Change, Risk, RM and CM
Leads the coordination with the project management, cost control, and quality management and improvement efforts associated the projects and operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Demonstrated working knowledge of implementing standards and processes using industry best practices.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Change Management, Risk Management and Configuration Management
Minimum of five (5) years' experience supporting projects that have involved Change Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management, and/or Configuration Management either though implementation or support for process management, project management and/or report tracking.
Demonstrated experience in project management providing oversight for projects and maintaining

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
