Our partner is looking for a Financial Auditor in Springfield, VA.
Responsibilities Conduct independent assessments of financial policy, programs, and operationsOversee contractors performing financial statement audits.
Gather and analyze information to determine whether potential findings exist and identify recommendations for improvement.
Prepare working papers and reports, including findings and recommendations.
Follow up on report recommendations to ensure that appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
This position in non-supervisory.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field such as Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or Public Administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in Accounting or Auditing.

years of experience in Accounting or Auditing, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge.
As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience.
Ability to Obtain or maintain Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor certificationsDemonstrated experience interviewing, negotiating, and briefing senior officials, and to work effectively, both independently and in teams or other collaborative environments.
Demonstrated experience communicating and writing audit findings and recommendations to management as a Team Lead or Auditor-in-Charge.
Demonstrated experience in Federal financial audit experience performed in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards, including leading, conducting, or overseeing contractors performing financial statement audits.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
