In this role, a typical day will include:
JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position supports the program's Open Data Store (ODS) team to provide quality cost effective solutions to the client.
As part of the ODS Team, various expertise is needed to support a sophisticated enterprise environment both on premise as well as in the cloud.

Summary:
The Engineer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customers technical support.
The Engineer will be integrated within an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.
Specific Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventative maintenanceManage and aggregate server logs and monitor for security and system related incidentsWork with A Teams to maintain security requirements for operation of systemsMaintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies/authentication/search, etc)Produce detailed documentationEducation/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience5
years' IT experienceRequired Skills:
Experience with AWS servicesStrong Troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologyFamiliarity with Linux distributions:
RedHat, CentOSFamiliarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools:
GitLab CI, Jenkins, NexusStrong communication skills#Rover2022.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
