Modernization Systems Engineer IV Top Secret SCI DOD Clearance Required Onsite at Springfield, VA Contract to Hire Rate:
W2 Rate $80 to $112 an hour depending on benefit selection and qualifications Clearance Requirement - Current DOD US Top Secret Clearance and SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph Required skills :
Systems Engineering experience within Space Systems hardware and middleware legacy equipment Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excellent written and oral communications skills Ability to work independently and make technical decisions Desired skills:
Familiarity with Linux, especially Red Hat Knowledge of Oracle Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) degree is preferred.
Along with 5
years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree STEM preferred with 3
years of relevant experience Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Managing baseline installations into operations Maintaining, tracking, and monitoring of availability percentages for the program Troubleshooting operational issues, dealing with anomalies and system recovery Generating reports, plus any ad-hoc requests for data Attending technical exchange meetings as the representative for the program and be able to Represent Technical team.
Monitoring, tracking, coordinating, and implementing operational workloads Providing off-hours call-in support to assist 24/7 operations.
