Systems Analyst II

Job Description Maintains and facilitates implementations of systems, and databases to ensure optimum performance.
Manages Information System project/products in order to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health Systems business needs.
Participates in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate usefulness for Inova Health System.
Assist in recruitment, development and training of existing and new employees.
Communicates project and team status to internal and external audiences to keep project team informed.
Job Responsibilities Assists in the initial screening of applicant by reviewing resumes, or conducting interviews, reporting impressions/findings to Manager or Director.
Assists in the orientation of new staff and assists in employee training activities as evidenced by completion of training program set forth by the Manager in accordance with established policy.
Follows through on issues for resolution.
Communicates status and closure with end users, and escalates to manager as required in accordance with established policy.
Uses effective customer service skills to maintain vendor and user relationships and communicates status and problems in a timely, professional manner as evidenced by status reports, issues list, in accordance with Technology Services documentation standards.
Participates in task force meetings or work groups.
Writes meeting minutes, project correspondence and meeting minutes in accordance with Technology Services documentations standards.
Analyzes IS processes and workflow to identify alternative system or technology solutions.
Provides input to application design to support system modifications or enhancements, as evidenced creating functional specifications, assisting end users in developing system requirements, and documenting system/user procedures in accordance with Technology Services standards.
Responds to and supports system issues/requests and communicates with end user on status and closure of tickets as evidenced by following documented on call, downtime, and request for service procedures in accordance with Technology Services documentation standards.
Participates in ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of major systems, follows all Change Control and Security procedures in accordance with Technology Services and audit standard Manages Information System project/products in order to provide automated solutions that meet Inova Health Systems business needs.
Consults with management and senior staff to validate time line and provides status on tasks and completion in order to meet project timelines.
Supports departmental processes such as project management as evidenced by project planning, problem resolution, change control, and quality assurance in accordance with established policies.
Participates in all phases of testing as evidenced by preparation of test scripts and conversion plans.
Participates in testing and validation of test results and obtains end user acceptance sign-off in accordance with Technology Services documentation standards.
Provides input to impact present and or proposed systems have/will have on the organization as evidenced by detailed cost/benefit, statistical and impact analysis.
Develops system documentation as evidenced by completed policy, procedures and system specifications, in accordance with Technology Services documentation standards.
Provides input and assists end users in development of departmental policies and procedures as it relates to the application.
Adheres to applications security and control procedures in accordance with departmental, vendor, and regulatory bodies.
Assists in educating end users on requirements and policies as they relate to these procedures.
Evaluates requests for service and follows through as evidenced by completion of system evaluation forms and requirements documentation in accordance with Technology Services standards.
Assists in in conducting system investigation to determine functional and technical requirements, feasibility of application in the Inova environment, cost, and support/maintenance as evidenced by end user and vendor discussions.
Participates in vendor demos, site visits, and reference calls as evidenced by completion of demo scripts and reference call questionnaires, in accordance with Technology Services documentation standards.
Additional RequirementsEducation Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience 2 years experience in supporting, developing, analyzing manual and automated system needs in a healthcare environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
