Qualifications:
o 5 years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role o Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Ability to follow outlined instructions.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
o Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success o Critical thinker and problem-solving skills o Team player:
ability to work with others such as developers and site users.
o Good time-management skills o Great interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
o Conducts software testing (functionality, regression, interoperability, etc.
) o Produces final end-user documentation for web and desktop applications.
o Produces final training materials for end-users.
o Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, questionable behavior, errors and inconsistencies with application functionality, output, online screens and content.
o Works with software development engineers in product design, code reviews, walk-throughs and product lifecycle inspections.
o Creates/edits test plans, test cases, scripts, and patches and ensure traceability to requirements and logs defect work Items in JIRA o Analyze user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
o Responds to inquiries from site users regarding functions and operation of software applications.
o Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
o Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
Education and Certifications:
o Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related field; or additional 4 years of experience.
o CompTIA Security
required o International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certified Tester or relevant certifications preferred Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Business Informatics Code Review Communication Comp Tia Security
