Job Description:
Vaxcom is looking for an amazingly talented Access Control Security experts to join our team! Clearance Requirement:
Minimum active TOP SECRET clearance with poly required What You'll Be Doing:
Controls access to client site through the admittance process; precludes unauthorized access to facilities, deters theft or intentional destruction of physical assets.
Observes and reports activities and incidents, provides documentation to client management.
Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other unspecified incidents.
Process requests for new accesses o Review requests o Cross-check approvals and prerequisite checks in specific systems o Database entry Manage existing user accesses o Changing organizations/missions o Process name changes, access conversion Troubleshoot issues with user accesses o Interface with other government agencies and internal components Manage and process group requests Periodic review/oversight of accesses in system - monthly frequency Customer focus/interpersonal skills required.
Ability to articulate technical information to a diverse customer base Professional knowledge o Knowledge of Sponsor organizational structure, AORs, and operational responsibilities o Knowledge of Sponsor relationship to other agencies o Exceptional organizational skills Professional discretion:
officer will be required to work in an environment where extremely sensitive, disconcerting, and sensationalistic information may be present.
Professional discretion and conduct is imperative.
Qualifications:
The ability to work as an Independent Contractor (1099).
- Must have an Active and Current Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

Citizenship.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Impeccable customer service skills.
- Possess good writing skills and ability to make decisions quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and able to interpret documents to ensure all rules and procedures are being applied.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to maintain telephone rapport with customers at all levels.
- Successfully pass criminal, credit, and driving record checks.
- Must be able to pass all training and obtain required certifications to include CPR, First Aid/AED.
- Ability to assist customers on a wide range of topics to include interoperability, reciprocity, office policies, office procedures, clearance issues, and other items as required.
- Valid driver's license.
Experience in a State licensed security services occupation (armed/unarmed guard, control room operator, etc.
) highly desirable.
Former military or Law Enforcement encouraged to apply.
