The client's New Campus East (NCE) Active IT Program was established to provide the infrastructure services required to build out and maintain the NCE facilities. The O&S; Tier 4 Level FIM Engineer will work as part of an Identity Management Services team (6-personnel) responsible for managing the directory services and identity management infrastructure of multiple environments; as well as performing Enterprise Level troubleshooting. Normal work hours are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) with a scheduled start time between 6:00AM and 10:00AM. The start time is flexible with agreement by team lead to ensure the maximum amount of coverage for the client from 0600-1800 hours each day.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for systems engineering and user ticket driven tasks related to Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager, Active Directory, and/or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). The candidate will be exposed to Windows Server 2008 & 2012, Quest directory and migration tools, VMware ESX Server and Virtual Center, and troubleshooting of user issues within a VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) environment. The server platform in the production environment is primarily Windows, with some Linux and UNIX variants.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
5-8 years of related systems engineering experience.
Desired Qualifications
MCSE, MCSD, or MCTS with 3-5 years' minimum experience as a Forefront Identity Manager 2010, Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007, or Identity Integration Services 2003 engineer
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Exchange, PowerShell, SQL Server, and .NET development
Experience facilitating user migrations between Active Directory environments is a plus
Experience designing, implementing, and/or troubleshooting PKI infrastructure and lifecycle is a plus
Familiarity with Self-Service Password Reset tools and deployment strategies is a plus
Familiarity with Role Based Access Control (RBAC) design and implementation strategies
Knowledge of SCCM or other enterprise management tools is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills
Knowledge of proper IT security procedures, positive customer interface skills
Ability to conduct research into server issues and products as required
Experience creating system architecture diagrams and writing comprehensive documentation
Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment
