Title: Intelligence Data Analyst Location: Virginia-Springfield
Key Role:
Interface with intelligence analysts and collection managers within the larger intelligence cycle to produce analytic insights, based on pattern recognition, spatial-temporal analysis, correlations, regression analysis, and other methods under the rubric of big data analytics. Focus on understanding the value of numerous intelligence data sets and how to leverage data to improve the effectiveness of intelligence collection. Use a Web-based application to build analytic models that query several data sets simultaneously, compare and contrast those data sets, and manipulate analytic findings into useful outputs for consumption across the broader intelligence community. Build analytic models and quickly diagnose intelligence issues to determine whether big data analytics can contribute to its solution. Work with others conducting similar work to share best practices on building analytic models to train the broader work force on the capability.
Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience as an intelligence analyst using data from multiple intelligence disciplines, including HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, or MASINT
-2 years of experience in working with, filtering, and analyzing large data sets, including large tables and databases with multiple interconnected tables
-Experience with the mission of GEOINT collection operations
-Experience with TCPED process from multiple INTs, including HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, or MASINT focused on collection requirements and operations
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel
-TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Keyhole Markup Language (KML) and GIS software, including Google Earth or ArcGIS
-Experience with database administration and query languages, including SQL Select statements
-Experience with Python expressions or other related scripting languages
-Experience with HTTP, HTML, or CSS
-Experience with programming languages, including Java, Visual Basic, C , and various Web service frameworks
-Experience with Microsoft Access
-Possession of excellent problem solving and customer support skills
-BA or BS degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, CS, Economics, International Affairs, Intelligence Studies, or in a related field

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
