Key Role:
Perform systems engineering and user ticket driven tasks related to Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware virtual infrastructure, App-V, and other application virtualization technologies, NAS file shares, printing services, security settings and policies, and Windows troubleshooting. Perform Windows Server 2008 and 2012, VMware ESX Server, and Virtual Center troubleshooting of user issues within a VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and virtualized application environment. Manage server platforms in the production environment, including Windows with some Linux and UNIX.
Basic
Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with systems engineering
-3 years of experience in a Windows Server 2008 or 2012-based engineering field
-Experience with VMware and troubleshooting in a virtualized environment
-Experience with application virtualization and supporting COTS applications, including App-V, XenApp, or ThinApp
-Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or 2012, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, DFS-R, File and Print Services, and GPO validation, management, and implementation
-TS/SCI clearance
-MCSE or MCITP Certification

Qualifications:
-Experience with PowerShell scripting
-Experience with working in a team-oriented collaborative environment
-Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or other database platforms
-Knowledge of proper IT security procedures
-Ability to conduct research into server issues and products, as required
-Possession of excellent troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills
-Possession of excellent client interface skills
-BA or BS degree in CS, Engineering, or a technical field
