The Office Management/Staff Officer candidate will support the
implementation of standardized process functions, the execution of routine and
annual activities (i.e. rank-in-person, assessments, career development,
administration, etc.) and all relevant career service related administration to
include (but not limited to) management and execution of career services
governance, providing training as needed and communicating policies, procedures
and expectations to the workforce. Support to be provided under this task
Receiving and acting on guidance and direction
from the career service leads or managers
Communicating general and specific functions to
all levels of audiences
Coordination, collection, screening and
dissemination of development and promotion packets
Compliance with existing and implied policies
Assist in identifying, capturing and
disseminating applicable metrics and reports
Assist in refinement of processes, collect and
staff lessons learned
Recommend technology enhancements as applicable
Planning and integrating career service
processes and strategies for career service operations
Establish or assist in establishing websites and
website information to include maintaining currency of information
The candidate will provide the customer lead with input for
weekly activity reports and weekly staff meetings, Meeting minutes, Briefings,
papers, and Project/Concept Plans. The candidate will also support the
production of Government documentation with suspense dates being established by
the government lead.
The customer is employing
a systematic approach to talent management and workforce development that will
enhance leadership and professional development expertise and improve workforce
planning and talent management systems to attract, recruit, motivate and retain
a diverse, highly competent and adaptive workforce. All customer tasks that
require recruitment, assessment, development, and promotions of the customer
workforce to meet the evolving GEOINT mission are dependent on this action. All
customer employees are aligned to a career service, thereby affecting all
customer Key Components (KCs).
Required Skills and Education
Required education: High School/GED with 11 to 14 years expereince, Associates with 9 to 12 years experience or Bachelors with 7 to 10 years expereince.
Experience and demonstrated competency
performing general staff officer duties with general supervision. Experience in
gathering information to synthesize functional needs. Ability to support
studies and assessments. May serve as central administrative POC and
coordinates administrative activities ensuring schedules and outcomes are
achieved. Able to extract and synthesize complex information to prepare
Briefing, Read Ahead and other materials. Comprehensive understanding of
Microsoft Office Applications and ability to independently develop material
using these applications.
Preferred Skills and Education
Additional skills include the following: briefing
skills, project management, strategic planning, organizational skills, and
resource management. Knowledge of specific applications and methods including:
Taskers, Correspondence Manual, and
PeopleSoft desired. Working knowledge of recruiting processes used by the
government and IC.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
