Jacobs is seeking a TechReq Technician in Springfield, VA.
Duties will include:
Process incoming TECHREQ in 2 to 5 days based on priority levelManage UPST stock levels, conduct Semi-annual inventory of all stock and repair items.
Operate forklift for removal /replacement of equipment to stockProvide monthly QASP data to TEHCREQ manager and provide troubleshooting to the field via message, same-time or phone on technical issuesOperate, configure, maintain, repair, and manage UPS equipment.
Specializations include several generations of UPS 650VA, 700VA, 1KVA, 1500VA and 2KVAResponsible for documenting records in Microsoft Access, Excel, and ensuring stock levels are maintainedIsolate UPS failures using, manuals, diagrams and multimeterRepair equipment down to component or module level, annotate repair records and return equipment to stockOther duties as assigned#cyberintelli Qualifications :
Active TS/SCI with polygraph requiredHigh school diploma or AA degreeCertificate of training or certification with two years of experience basic electronics component level repair of electronic equipment.
This can be of the form of military training in basic electronics and two years with two years of experience performing electronic repair work Requires less than three full years of experience specific to the skill and must be reflectedCapable of reading technical manuals and diagrams to isolate problems down to component or module level Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfactionProficient in many facets of information technology requirementsShould possess general business knowledge and soft-skills allowing them to be adaptable in a wide array of work environments.
The candidate should have the willingness to participate in these type of activities when called upon to do soDesired Requirements:
AA Degree Electronics with 1 year of work experience in diagnosing, repair and replacement of components level equipment for the Powerware and UPSI systemsExperience with the use of basic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and the use of power and hand tools#ourmissionEssential Job FunctionsWork Environment:
General Office environment.
The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.
Physical Requirements:
Most work will be done at a desk or computer.
Typically employees sit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing, walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiring the use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.
Capable of lifting a minimum of 50lbs.
Equipment and Machines:
General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance:
Attendance is critical at all times.
Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday.
However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements.
Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
